CANANDAIGUA, NY… The #1 nationally-ranked Genesee Community College women's soccer team picked up a 7-0 victory against the Finger Lakes Community College Lakers Saturday afternoon.
Megan RInker and Jordyn Ertel scored a pair of goals each for the Cougars. Ruby Hoyt, Catharine Wolck, and Savanna Scheifla scored one goal each for Genesee. The Genesee offense put 29 shots on net.
Sarah Kidder picked up the shutout for the Blue and Gold.
Genesee (5-0) will travel to St. John Fisher University on Wednesday, September 20 to face the Cardinals JV team. Genesee will then host Tompkins Cortland Community College on Sunday, September 24 at 1:00pm.
