Men’s Basketball Edges Finger Lakes for 7th Straight Win

BATAVIA, NY… The #11 nationally ranked Genesee Community College men's basketball team defeated the Finger Lakes Community College Lakers Tuesday night 85-81 for their seventh straight win. It is the second time this season that the Cougars have a winning streak of seven games or more. 

 

Jo'El King scored a game-high 24 points and collected 10 rebounds to lead the way for Genesee. 21 of his 24 points came from behind the arch. CJ McCullum had a triple double, scoring 10 points, collecting 10 rebounds, and dishing out 10 assists. Rayvon Weir scored 23 points for the Cougars. Deontay Sprattley scored 12 points. 

 

Genesee (19-4, 11-1) will be on the road this coming weekend, with games at Fulton-Montgomery on Saturday, and Mohawk Valley on Sunday.
