Batavia, NY - In a thriller of a match-up and facing double elimination, the cougars took down the #1 Region III ranked Niagara CCC Thunderwolves in their game on thursday.
In an attempt to even out the game and push it into 10 innings, Niagara hit a triple and made a run for home plate, in which catcher Patricio Garcia made the game winning out on Niagaras base runner.
Scorers for the Cougars include Anthony Brotz, Rion Kojima, Ryan Higgins and Brian Tisa.
Baseball will advance to the semifinal round against Herkimer CC on Friday, May 17th at 12:00 PM.
