Batavia, NY - The Genesee Women's Volleyball team took on Dutchess Community College and Monroe University Bronx this past saturday. The Cougars split the day, taking home their first win against Monroe.

The Cougars took the game to 5 sets. First two sets went to the Cougars, before the Express atempted to make a comeback, winning the next two sets. But Genessee would edge out the Express 13-15 to give them the win. The leader of the game against monroewas Elena Azzi with 12 Kills, 2 Aces and 1 Assisted Block

The Cougars will travel to Onondoga CC for a POD match on September 7th.
