Women's Soccer adds Hall
On December 6th, Abigail Hall committed to the Genesee Women’s Soccer team for the 2025 season. Abby is a 5’0” forward who started 4 years for the Naples Varsity girls’ soccer team. Hall has recorded 57 career goals and 31 career assists for her high school team. She is a two-time First Team Allstar, Second Team All Star, and Honorable Mention during her four years as a varsity athlete, as well as being a captain during her senior season. She has also been awarded Offensive Player of the Year for Finger Lakes West and is a part of the Scholar Athlete Team. She also plays for the Canandaigua Attack club team and is a softball player for her high school. Abby is active in school participation while being a School Board Representative and Class President, as well as being a part of Operation Santa, Civil Air Patrol Auxiliary of the Airforce, and her school’s Musical. Abby plans to major in Physical Therapy Assistant while attending GCC.
Abby is the first recruit from Naples to join the Genesee Cougar family. “We’re excited to start a rapport with the Naples team and hope to continue to get recruits from the area. Abby is an exceptional forward with a nose for the goal. She has lightning speed and an incredible work ethic. She will be a perfect fit for our team”, stated Head Coach Jeff Reyngoudt.
Jeff and Macy have been meeting with a lot of recruits and have some more commitments coming up. The Cougars ended their 2024 season with an 8-3-2 record. If you are interested in trying out for next year’s 2025 Genesee Cougars, please email Jeff Reyngoudt at jcreyngoudt@genesee.edu.
