BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College women's soccer team lost to the North Country Community College Saints 2-0 Tuesday afternoon.
North Country opened the scoring eight minutes into the match. They would take a 1-0 into halftime and then would score 20 minutes into the second half to take a 2-0 lead.
Sarah Kidder played well in net for Genesee, making four saves. Genesee's offense has 22 shots, with 14 shots on goal.
Genesee CC is the proud host of the 2024 NJCAA Region III Women's Soccer Championships on Saturday, October 26, and the 2024 NJCAA Division III Men's and Women's Soccer National Championships, held November 12-17.
