BATAVIA, NY - The Genesee Women's Soccer team kicked off at home against SUNY Niagara's Thunderwolves, in a one sided game, the Cougars won 6-0.
In the first half, the Ladies scored 3 goals, the first coming in at the 18 minute mark from Sophomore Grace Devine, assisted by Sophomore Ruby Hoyt. The next rallying in at the 40 minute mark from Freshman Alicia Borden, assisted by Hoyt. The third and final of the half, from Sophomore Brittany Bliss, assited by Hoyt. All goals in the first half would go on to be assisted by Hoyt.
The second half was just as dominant, with Goals coming from Devine assisted by Cydney Brandl, Catherine Wolck assisted by Borden and finally Ruby Hoyt adding her own goal into the mix.
The Thunderwolves would go scoreless despite their efforts.
The Cougars will match up against St. John Fishers Junior Varsity program this Tuesday, September 17th at 7:00 PM.
