Ashley Hearn scored on the rebound off a direct kick from Diante Scheepers to put Genesee on the board, after the Knights scored the first three goals of the game.
Madison Papaj and Alexa Salatel split time in net for Genesee.
Genesee (7-3) returns to action on Wednesday, October 2 at home against Jamestown Community College. Gametime against WNYAC foe Jayhawks is at 6:30pm and the game will be streamed live on www.geneseeathletics.com
