BATAVIA, NY… The nationally-ranked Genesee Community College women's soccer team suffered a 6-0 loss Sunday afternoon to the Monroe Community College Tribunes.
The Cougars played tough against the Tribunes with Monroe scoring three goals early in the opening half to put the game in their favor. Monroe would add three more tallies in the second half to secure the 6-0 shutout.
Madison Papaj and Alexa Salatel split time between the nets for Genesee.
Genesee 's (4-2) next contest will be at home on Wednesday, September 18th at 4:00 pm against the Cayuga Community College Spartans. The game will be streamed live on www.geneseeathletics.com
