BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College women's lacrosse team dropped their home contest on Sunday morning against the Harford Community College Fighting Owls 15-8.

Chloe Barrett scored a hat trick to lead the way offensively for Genesee. Courtney Wilson added two goals. Quinn McCue, Grace Devine, and Elizabeth Clark all scored for the Cougars. 

Genesee would out-shoot the Fighting Owls in the third and fourth quarter, but couldn't complete the comeback.  

The Cougars next game will take place on Wednesday, April 17 at Finger Lakes Community College, with a 6:30pm faceoff in Canandaigua. 

Genesee will return home on Tuesday, April 23 against the College of DuPage at 6:30pm in their regular season home finale.
