The Genesee Community College women's basketball team faced a tough outing against Jamestown Community College, resulting in a 36-69 loss on the road. Jaelyn Morris provided a bright spot for the Cougars, leading the team with 19 points, including 5 three-pointers, to keep Genesee in contention early. Lexi Wolck added 4 points and pulled down 7 rebounds, while Kiara van der Jagt led the team on the glass with 7 rebounds and contributed 2 points.
The Cougars struggled to find their rhythm offensively, shooting just 22.2% from the field and 21.7% from beyond the arc. Turnovers proved costly, with Genesee committing 27 giveaways, which allowed Jamestown to capitalize and extend their lead.
