BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College women's basketball team fought hard, but came up short against the Cayuga CC Spartans Saturday afternoon by the score of 51-26. 

Catherine Wolck had a team-high 11 points. Wolck collected six rebounds and had five steals. Jordyn Ertel scored five points. Sydney Hnat scored four points and collected 14 rebounds. Tatum Gagne, Desiree Zielinski, and Aiyana Semear all scored for Genesee.  

Genesee travels to Corning CC on Wednesday afternoon for a 5pm tipoff in the Twin Tiers.
