BATAVIA, NY… The GCC women’s basketball team took on Jefferson Community College Thursday night in their 2023-24 home opener and came up short against the Cannoneers, falling 97-27.

BATAVIA, NY… The GCC women's basketball team took on Jefferson Community College Thursday night in their 2023-24 home opener and came up short against the Cannoneers, falling 97-27.
Desiree Zielinski scored a team-high 11 points and had three steals. Catherine Wolck scored nine points and collected eight rebounds for Genesee. Jordyn Ertel had 11 rebounds.
Genesee returns to action on Thursday, November 16 at Finger Lakes CC. Tip off in Canandaigua is scheduled for 5pm. Genesee returns home on Tuesday, November 21 at 5pm against Monroe Community College.
