BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College women's basketball team lost their first home game of the new semester Tuesday afternoon to the Herkimer College Generals 62-48.
Alayah Sweeney led the Cougars in scoring with 17 points and collecting 10 rebounds. Tylasia Weaver also collected a double double, scoring 15 points and adding 13 rebounds.
Genesee (7-9) will play at Mercyhurst Northeast to open up WNYAC play on Saturday, January 25.
