AUBURN, NY… The Genesee Community College women's basketball team suffered an 80-66 loss to the Cayuga Community College Spartans Tuesday night inside Spartan Hall.

Alayah Sweeney led the way for the Cougars scoring 21 points, nine rebounds, and three steals. LisBeth Pineda Polanco scored 13 points with four rebounds, three steals, and three blocks. Erina Ishiguro scored 12 points for the blue and gold.

Genesee (3-4) will look to rebound at home on Saturday, November 23 as they host the Bryant & Stratton College Bobcats from Rochester at 1pm. The game will be streamed live on www.geneseeathletics.com
