BATAVIA, NY... On July 27, Morgan Mathis signed a letter of intent to play softball for Genesee Community College. Mathis, who also plays volleyball for Genesee, is excited get to work on the diamond and help Genesee compete after their shortened spring season.
Mathis is a third baseman from North Collins who is eager to show her skills on the field for Genesee. Morgan has a strong glove in the infield and pairs that with her consistent plate appearances to make her a great asset for the Genesee Softball Program. She is a great team player, who will fit in great with the current and new additions to the team this year.
Mathis was awarded the Most Improved Player award following the 2019-2020 academic year.
