On May 12, 2020 The Genesee Community College Softball Team added another stand out recruit to their lineup. Samantha Dils of the Lakeshore Eagles is excited to become a Cougar. Samantha plays both Catcher and Third Base, but is athletic enough to play anywhere in the infield. She has a strong glove and consistent plate appearances. 

 

Samantha has been accepted to Genesee with the intention of studying Vet Tech. She has been a leader for both her high school team as well as her summer travel league team and Coach Spurling is looking for her to do the same the the Cougars. Coach Spurling said, "When i first met Samantha at a travel league tournament, she was very outgoing. You could tell she loved the game. She is a smart player, and the kind of teammate everyone wants to have."
