The Genesee Community College men's soccer team got a shutout win against visiting Corning Community College with an 11-0 score Sept. 5.
Defensively, the team did not allow a shot against while offensively they peppered Corning with 37.
Three Cougars recorded multi-goal games in Jose Manoel Cavalini, Rodrigo Albuquerque and Hiago Barros de Souza.
Five other Cougars recorded single tallies that included Adam Price, Hijiri Sano, Ross White, Ryan Curtis and Gabriel Martins Lopes.
Genesee had 13 corner kicks with many coming from the foot of Philip Melo that ended successfully.
The team gets ready to participate in the Tom Birchy Tournament this weekend in Maryland with a pair of games. The Cougars will face Mt. Sac, Sept. 8, at 4 p.m. and then Prince George's, Sept. 9, at 12 p.m.
