Lacrosse Dominates the Hawks
Genesee delivered a dominant performance, defeating Mohawk Valley Community College 32-1 in a one-sided matchup. Genesee took complete control from the start, scoring 10 goals in the first quarter and adding 11 more in the second to take a 21-1 lead by halftime. Their relentless attack continued in the second half, with seven goals in the third quarter and four more in the fourth, securing their overwhelming victory.
The offensive charge was led by Brian Freeman, who recorded 4 goals and 5 assists, and Jaxon Mohawk, who tallied 4 goals and 1 assist. Michael Hayes also contributed significantly with 4 goals, while James Reif (3 goals, 4 assists) and Evan Belter (3 goals, 1 assist) played key roles in the attack. In total, Genesee registered 58 shots, with 42 on target, keeping Mohawk Valley's defense under constant pressure.
