The Genesee Community College men's lacrosse team achieved a 19-6 win, which showcased strong offense and defense play. The high point-scorer was Brian Freeman with 6 goals and 1 assist, followed by Landon Jaeckle at 4 goals and 1 assist. Michael Hayes and Evan Belter had 2 goals each, and Belter had 3 assists as well.
Face-off specialist Luke Smeader dominated the circle, taking 25 of 26 face-offs and keeping possession for Genesee during the game. The defense also performed well, gaining 59 ground balls and forcing 9 turnovers.
The goalkeeping was a collaborative effort by four players with Evan Sorenson, Ryan Winters, Payton Palizay, and Drew Helms splitting 8 saves while allowing only 6 goals. he defense remained steady, limiting scoring opportunities and protecting the net.
