Men’s Lacrosse Drops Home Opener

BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College men's lacrosse team opened up their 2024 season this past Saturday at home against NJCAA pre-season #4 nationally ranked CCBC Essex, and fell to the visiting Knights 13-10.

Brian Freeman led the way with four goals and one assist for the Cougars. Christian LeFeurve scored two goals and had four assists. James Reif, Teegan Henry, Landen Johnson, and Michael Hayes all scored for Genesee. Drew Helms made 14 saves between the pipes. Luke Smeader went 16-24 from the faceoff dot.

Genesee (0-1) looks to bounce back on Friday afternoon, as they host Anne Arundel at 2pm.
