Genesee Defeats Cannoneers

WATERTOWN, NY… The no.8 Genesee Community College men's lacrosse team earned their seventh victory of the season after a 25-2 victory over the Jefferson Community College Cannoneers Saturday afternoon.  

Jason Chiodo once again led the way offensively for Genesee scoring seven goals and dishing out three assists. Kyle Isaacs scored four goals and three assists. Austin Palmer score four goals and two assists. Henry Reber scored four goals. Evan Printup scored two goals. Konnor Sunday and Dante David each had a goal and assist each, while Valentin Brito and Samuel Koczwara each scored a goal. Darcey Redeye had an assist.

Anthony Diamico went 18/23 from the faceoff circle and had 18 ground balls for Genesee.  Lincoln Potter, Brandon Moore, Jalen Lee, Max Henchbarger, and Cody Chanthavong all split time between the pipes for the Cougars.

The Cougars (7-4) have clinched a bye into the NJCAA Region III Men's Lacrosse Final Four. The Cougars will play for the Region III title on Saturday, May 4 at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse.
