BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College men's basketball team defeated the Corning Red Barons Wednesday afternoon 100-86 to improve their record to 11-3 overall, and 5-1 in NJCAA Region III play.
Rayvon Weir led the way for Genesee with 25 points, and six assists. Zaphian Scott collected a double-double, scoring 20 points and collecting 10 rebounds. Carlos Perez scored 17 points, while Damont Hanton scored 11 points. Antoine McFadden had a double-double, with ten points, 12 rebounds, and had two blocks.
Genesee will return home this weekend for a pair of national top five contests, as #4 Herkimer College and #2 Mohawk Valley CC will be in town on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
