BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Cougars men's basketball team earned an impressive comeback victory over Fulton-Montgomery Community College, winning 75-66. The Cougars trailed 39-32 at halftime but rallied with a 43-point second half to secure the win.
Mamadou Traore and Damont Hanton led the charge, each scoring 20 points. Traore was efficient with 8-of-10 free throws, while Hanton added five rebounds and a block. Zaphian Scott contributed nine points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Carlos Perez added nine points with two three-pointers. The Cougars' defense forced 11 steals, sealing the game.
The Cougars will look to add another win against as they travel to Clinton Community College for a 6:00 PM Tip-Off.
