Batavia, NY - The baseball team took to the mound at home against the Jayhawks, dropping the first game and coming back to win the second of the double header.
Game 1:
Key players stood out with their remarkable contributions. Anthony Brotz tallied 2 runs, Wyatt Argentieri demonstrated his hitting ability with 2 crucial hits while adding a run. Rion Kojima and Casey Funk drove in important runs as well. Ryota Haga and Cody Costello also made their presence felt, each contributing an RBI to the scoreboard.
Julian Jones took the mound for 3.2 innings, facing 7 hits and allowing 6 runs, all earned. Despite striking out 3 batters, Jones struggled with control, issuing 3 walks. His efforts to keep the opposing hitters at bay fell short as they managed to capitalize on scoring opportunities.
