Becky Dziekan, who has been at Genesee Community College since 1996, is the Director Health and Physical Education. She teaches courses as well as supervises all Health and Physical Education full-time and adjunct faculty, the programs, the courses, and curricula, among many other responsibilities. Prior to being named director, Becky was the full-time Head Athletic Trainer here at GCC.

While at GCC, Becky has worn several hats. As Associate Professor of Health and Physical Education, she teaches a wide range of courses, serves on several committees, and supervises all American Red Cross courses taught at GCC. During her tenure as Athletic Trainer, Becky supervised student athletic trainers, and provided injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for all of the college’s athletic teams.

In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, walking, biking, golfing, fishing, watching football, and playing with her two boys, Dylan and Colton.

Becky received a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Sport at SUNY College at Brockport, and a Master’s Degree in Athletic Training at Indiana State University.
