Terry George was a two-time All-American and a two-time Region III Player of the Year for the Genesee Community College men's basketball program. A member of the 2002-2003 team that was inducted into the Genesee Athletic Hall of Fame last fall, George is currently the all-time leading scorer in College history with 1,370 career points. He was a member of the program's first team to represent GCC in the NJCAA National Tournament as a freshman and reached the national tournament in both of his seasons as a Cougar. After GCC, George continued his academic and athletic career at The College of St. Rose. George returned to Genesee in 2007 as an assistant coach to the men's basketball team and was named the interim head coach for the 2011-2012 season. He will return as head coach for the 2012-2013 season. George currently resides in Batavia.
