BATAVIA, NY… The nationally-ranked Genesee Community College women's soccer team earned a 5-0 win over Finger Lakes Community College in the NJCAA Region III Division III Pool B Semifinals Wednesday evening.  

Kelly Mickey put the Cougars on the scoreboard first with the lone goal in the first half. 

Kelsey Fuller and Ashley Bliss each scored a pair of goals for the Cougars in the second half to put the game away for Genesee. Bliss finished the contest with two assists, Macie Riggs and Ashley Hearn both were also credited with an assist. 

Kellie Brewer earned the shutout as she went the distance in net for Genesee.  

Genesee will be travel to Herkimer College for the Region III Division III Championships on Saturday, October 30 to take on North Country at 2:30pm.
