Gilhooly Scores 3 in Shutout Win Over Jamestown

GCC defeats Jamestown 6-0

JAMESTOWN, NY… The #2 Genesee Men's Soccer program picked up another win with a 6-0 shutout of Jamestown on the road.

Nathan Gilhooly lead the way for the Cougars with three goals, bringing his season total to 11. Gilhooly also recorded an assist. Matheus Spina chipped in his 12th goal of the year and Morgan Williams added his 9th of the season. Spina also recorded an assist for the Cougars.

Johnny Simms also scored for Genesee and Lewis Bonner was credited with two assists in the win.

Augusto Rivero Fernandez played all 90 shutout minutes in net for Genesee, saving three shots and allowing no goals.

Genesee take a week off before they head to Mohawk Valley on October 20 for a crucial matchup with #6 Hawks.
