JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Community College men's soccer team's winning streak of six games was snapped Wednesday afternoon, falling to No. 2 Genesee Community College by a score of 6-0.

The Jayhawks (7-6, 1-3 WNYAC) played well in the first half of action, not giving up easy scoring opportunities to the Cougars. GCC did get some shots to fall to take a 3-0 lead into the break.

JCC did get three good looks at the net but were unable to capitalize on their opportunities.

Freshman goalkeeper Bryan Anderson (Ashville, NY/Chautauqua Lake Central) went the distance in net, making 11 saves on the afternoon.

The Jayhawks will be back in action this Saturday, October 16th, as they travel to North Country Community College for a 2 p.m. start. This will be the first of a three-game road trip to close out the regular season.
