GCC Women's Soccer Adds Two More Recruits

Tatum Gagne signs with GCC Womens Soccer

Genesee Women's Soccer signed their second and third recruits of the year, Sara Kingdollar and Tatum Gagné, on January 27th. Sara is a 5'7" defender and a 2-year varsity starter for Holley High School girls' soccer team. Tatum is a 5'5" midfielder and a 2-year starter for Holley High School as well. These two were captains on their team this past season. Sara and Tatum were a part of the Holley team that won Genesee Region during their Junior season and they also played in the Senior Select Game. Tatum had contributed 5 goals and 3 assists for her team. Both Kingdollar and Gagné also play basketball and softball for their school, and Kingdollar has participated in golf as well. Tatum has received the Most Improved award for softball and Sara has been the Most Improved on her basketball team. These two student athletes are both on high honor roll and a part of the National Honor Society. Gagné plans to major in General Studies and eventually pursue a career as an Athletic Trainer, while Kingdollar will be majoring in General Studies and will pursue a career in Architecture.

Sara and Tatum will become one of many Holley girls who has played for the Cougars. Head Coach Jeff Reyngoudt has recruited over the years from their high school and had many great players. "I'm very excited about this signing because both Sara and Tatum have the drive and dedication that we are looking for at GCC", stated Reyngoudt. Rachel Evans (formally Oliver), Nicki Mauro, and Claudia Passarell, who played on the 2014 Genesee Women's team that made it to the National Tournament that year, are also Holley alums. One of Sara and Tatum's high school coaches, Emily Harms (formally Troup), also is a Holley Grad and GCC Alum who played on the team that went to the National Tournament in 2010.

Jeff and Macy have started this recruiting season strong and are working hard to add more great additions to the team. They will be signing more players in the coming months and are excited about next season's incoming class. The Cougars ended their 2021 season with a 15-3-1 record and competed at the National Tournament.
