GCC Adds Dieter to Women's Soccer Recruiting Class

Montana Dieter signs to join GCC womens soccer for 2021 season

Genesee Women's Soccer just signed their eighth recruit of the year, Montana Dieter, on March 26th. Montana is a forward and a 4-year varsity starter for Pembroke girls' soccer team. Dieter was leading goal scorer on her team every year and had 28 career goals and 18 career assists. She also runs track and has been a cheerleader since 9th grade for her high school. Montana goes to BOCES for Nursing and was awarded Student of the Month. She plans to major in Nursing while at GCC.

Head Coach Jeff Reyngoudt and Assistant Coach Macy Reyngoudt met with Montana and her mom in the fall. Montana's mom is an alumnus of GCC and also played soccer here. Jeff and Macy have had daughters of alumni soccer players before. "It's always exciting to get the next generation to play here and continue to build the program" stated Jeff. In years past, Jenna Lewis from Holland was a daughter of an alumni and her mom played with Cameron Kramer's mom here at GCC as well. Kramer is currently a freshman on the team.

Jeff and Macy are finishing up recruiting for the 2021 Fall season and they are starting to round out their team. They have high hopes for the team to exceed people's expectations next year. The Cougars season is scheduled to play this spring and their first game is this Friday, April 2nd at Mohawk Valley.
