Leverson Joins Genesee Women's Soccer

jenna leverson signs to play womens soccer with genesee community college

Genesee Women's Soccer just signed their fifth recruit of the year, Jenna Leverson, on Janurary 29th. Jenna is a midfield/forward and a 4-year varsity starter for Livonia girls' soccer team. She had 10 career goals while playing for her high school. She also played for the Rochester Football Club. She is currently on High Honor Roll with a 3.5 GPA. Leverson was unable to play in the Senior Select game this year, due to Covid. Jenna also ran Track & Field for her high school. Her main events were the 100m, 200m, and long jump. She plans to major in Nursing while at GCC.

When Jeff and assistant coach, Macy Reyngoudt, met with Jenna, they were pleased with her determination for her studies and drive for the game. "Jenna is hoping to get into the nursing program and after listening to her talk about how hard she has worked to get where she is, we knew we needed to have her on our team. She is a born leader and not afraid to say how she feels, which we love", said Head Coach Jeff.

Jeff and Macy are still recruiting for the 2021 Fall season. They have been working hard speaking to 2021 prospects and are starting to round out their team. They are excited about next year's incoming class and have high hopes for the team to exceed people's expectations. The Cougars season is scheduled to play this spring.
