FORESTVILLE, NY… Genesee Women’s Soccer just signed their first recruit of the year. Head Coach, Jeff Reyngoudt, traveled to Forestville High School on November 18th to sign center midfielder, Chloe Barrett. Chloe is a 5’7” powerhouse and a 5-year varsity starter for Silver Creek High School girls’ soccer team. Chloe was also a 4-year Captain for her high school team. She was named Second Team All-League her 8th grade year in 2015, Honorable Mention as a 9th grader in 2016, First Team All-League in 2017, Second Team in 2018, and this year as a senior she was named First Team All-League. She also holds the school record for Most Goals in a season. Chloe has 40 career goals and 23 career assists. She plans to major in Health Studies.

While recruiting Chloe her high school coach, Kevin Rice, had spoken with Jeff and given a very specific overview of her style of play. Kevin stated that Chloe has really great character, good work ethic, and is a great teammate. Jeff also liked that he described her as a player with above-average ball skills, a solid distributer, and great leg strength with the ability to go either left or right. “She’s great in the air and is used to things running through her as an offensive scoring center midfielder” says Silver Creek Head Coach, Kevin Rice.

Jeff and assistant coach, Macy Reyngoudt, are getting the ball rolling when it comes to recruiting for the 2020 fall season. They have been working hard speaking to 2020 prospects and will be signing more players in the coming months. They are excited about next year’s incoming class and have high hopes for the team to exceed people’s expectations.
