On May 12th, Genesee Women's Soccer virtually signed their thirteenth recruit for the upcoming season, Grace Pastuszynski. Grace is an outside midfielder from Alden and is a four-year varsity starter for her high school team. She has 26 career goals and 26 career assists. She was also captain of her team her junior and senior year. Pastuszynski is a three-sport athlete and was awarded First Team ECIC her junior year and Second Team ECIC her senior year. She also received the Heart Award her freshmen and senior year, as well as the Golden Boot and Letterman Award her junior year. Grace also plays for Alden's club team.

Grace came to Head Coach Jeff Reyngoudt at a very high recommendation from her high school soccer coach. "I was already extremely interested and after hearing his description of her, I knew immediately that she is the kind of athlete we are looking for. She's strong, driven, and personable. She'll be a great addition to the team", stated Reyngoudt. Jeff is excited about signing Grace and the other 12 signee freshmen. Genesee's Women's team hopes to make an appearance in the National Tournament, as they did in 2014 and 2018.

The Genesee Cougar's Coaching staff are still in the process of recruiting for their 2020 team and have some more signings coming up in the next few months. If you are interested in trying out for next year's 2020 Genesee Cougars, please email Jeff Reyngoudt at jcreyngoudt@genesee.edu.
