BATAVIA, NY… The nationally-ranked Genesee Community College women’s soccer team is announcing their ninth signee of the season, Julia Ashworth. Ashworth, a native of Hornell, NY is a two-sport athlete.  

Julia is a 5’8 forward that can also play midfield. She was a four-year Varsity starter at Hornell and was team captain her senior season. She was an All-Livingston County Senior Select member and is also a member of the cheerleading team.

Genesee coaches Jeff and Macy Reyngoudt are finishing their recruiting for the upcoming season. Both are confident that the team that is coming on campus and returning will be just as strong as the 2018 Cougars. The 2018 squad competed in the Elite 8 of the NJCAA Division II Women’s Soccer National Championships.
