Women's Basketball Comes Up Short Against Spartans

AUBURN, NY… The Genesee Community College women's basketball team dropped their fifth straight game, falling to the Cayuga Community College Spartans 38-24 inside Spartan Hall Wednesday night.

The Cougars defense stifled the Spartans in the opening half, but Cayuga took over in the second half and pulled away to the win.

Genesee will return home on Saturday afternoon at 1pm for a tipoff against North Country Community College.
