BATAVIA, NY… The no.11 nationally ranked Genesee Community College men's basketball team earned a 90-61 victory against the Corning Community College Red Barons Saturday afternoon.  

Wayne Longmore and Rayvon Weir scored 19 points each to lead the Cougars offense. Longmore had a double-double, collecting 10 rebounds as well as dishing out four assists and had two steals. Weir collected six rebounds and dished out five assists. Zaphian Scott scored nine points and collected 14 rebounds. CJ McCullum scored nine points, and Elijah Gonzalez scored eight points. Dashawn Pender scored 11 points off the bench, and Zak Rushdan added 1- points.  

Genesee (14-4, 8-1) will be on the road on Sunday, with a 3:00pm tipoff in Syracuse at Onondaga Community College.
