Genesee Drops Region Semifinal Match-up to Tribunes

SANBORN, NY… The Genesee Community College women's basketball team's 2018-19 season came to an end Saturday afternoon, after an 80-64 loss in the NJCAA Region III Division II Semifinals against the Monroe Community College Tribunes at Niagara County Community College.

The Cougars and Tribunes exchanged the lead throughout the entire contest, with the Tribunes pulling away in the final quarter to earn the victory. Molly Buck led the way offensively for Genesee scoring 18 points and collecting six rebounds. Grace McComb scored 13 points, seven rebounds, and dished out nine assists. TaLia Burgess added 11 points for the Cougars.

Genesee finishes the season with a record of 17-11.
