BINGHAMTON, NY…The No.7 Genesee Community College men's soccer team defeated the SUNY Broome Community College Hornets 6-1 Saturday afternoon in the Southern Tier.

Hiago Barros de Souza would score four goals on the day. Ed Port and Ryan Curtis would also score for Genesee. Ed Port would have two assists and both Curtis and Barros de Souza would add an assist.

During the contest, Ed Port broke the single-season (27) and career record for assists (48).

Genesee (14-3) is in action on Saturday, October 26 for their regular-season finale at Hudson Valley Community College at 3 pm.
