BATAVIA, NY…  Genesee men’s soccer player Jack Sharman-Dodd signed his Letter of Intent (LOI) to continue his soccer career at Shawnee State University this coming fall.

Shawnee State finished the 2018 season with a record of 7-12 and competes in the Mid- South Conference, part of the NAIA. Jack will be a strong mid-fielder for the Bears.

In his two seasons at Genesee, Jack scored 10 goals and added 12 assists. Sharman-Dodd was part of the Cougars’ 2017 NJCAA Division II Men’s Soccer National Championship team and this past season, reached the NJCAA Division II Men’s Soccer National Semifinals. In the classroom, Jack made Dean’s List twice.

Outside the classroom, Jack enjoys socializing with friends and his favorite pregame meal is scrambled eggs on toast. His role model is Lionel Messi.
