CANANDAIGUA, NY… The Genesee Community College men's lacrosse team got back to the .500 win mark after a 27-6 victory over the Finger Lakes Community College Lakers Saturday in Canandaigua.
Austin Palmer led the way for Genesee and tying a school record with 10 goals in a single game. Zach Wade scored four goals and added an assist. Jason Chiodo scored three goals and added three assists. Darcey Redeye and Kyle Isaacs scored two goals and added three assists each. Other goal scorers for Genesee include Henry Reber, Samuel Koczwara, Jacob Hicks, Evan Printup, Jake Smeader, and Timothy Martino.
Lincoln Potter, Brandon Moore, Max Henchbarger, Cody Chanthavong and Jalen Lee all split time between the pipes for Genesee.
The Cougars (4-4) will be in action on Thursday, April 18 as they host Tompkins Cortland Community College in their regular season home finale. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 4pm.
