BATAVIA, NY… The no.11 nationally-ranked Genesee Community College men's basketball team won their 11th consecutive game Wednesday night, taking down NJCAA Division II Jamestown Community College Jayhawks 94-75 to finish the fall semester with a record of 11-3, and 6-1 in Midstate Athletic Conference play.
Damani Hinks had a game-high 20 points to lead the way for the Cougars. Hinks dished out four assists and had three steals. Wayne Longmore had a double-double, scoring 16 points while collecting 12 rebounds. Zaphian Scott also collected another double-double, scoring 12 points and having 12 rebounds. Deontay Sprattley scored 14 points. Elijah Gonzalez scored 12 points.
Genesee will travel to Buffalo on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 to take on Villa Maria College at 7pm.
