BATAVIA, NY… The no.12 nationally ranked Genesee Community College men's basketball team earned a hard-fought victory over the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings 87-82 Sunday afternoon for their 10thconsecutive victory.
Jo'El King had a team-high 19 points for the Cougars. The freshman center also contributed on the glass, collecting nine rebounds, and had four blocks. Deontay Sprattley and CJ McCullum each scored 13 points. Zaphian Scott had another double-double, scoring 10 points and collecting 11 rebounds. Damani Hinks scored 12 points, had six assists, three steals, and five rebounds. Wayne Longmore scored 10 points and had nine rebounds. Rayvon Weir and Elijah Gonzalez also contributed to the scoring for Genesee.
Genesee (9-3, 6-1) will host Jamestown Community College on Wednesday night at 7pm. The game will be streamed live on www.geneseeathletics.com
