CORNING, NY… The Genesee Community College men's basketball team took care of business on Wednesday night, winning 70-56 against the Corning Community College Red Barons. The win is Genesee's eighth in a row.  

Wayne Longmore had a team-high 19 points and collected 14 rebounds to lead the way offensively for Genesee. Zaphian Scott scored 12 points and collected 11 rebounds. Deontay Sprattley scored 10 points and collected seven rebounds and dished out two assists. Damani Hinks also scored 10 points off the Genesee bench.  

The Cougars (8-3, 6-1) returns to action on Saturday as they host SUNY Adirondack. Tipoff from inside the Anthony T. Zambito Gymnasium will be at 3pm.
