BATAVIA, NY… The Genesee Community College men's basketball team defeated the Lakeland Community College Lakers 94-89 on Friday night to improve to 5-1 on the season.

Selassie (Tyler) Bourne scored a game-high 40 points on 16-23 shooting. Brandon Speller scored 12 points and five assists. Legacy Wallace scored 10 points for the Blue and Gold.

Genesee returns home on Sunday, November 17 at 12 noon as they host Howard Community College. The game will be streamed live on www.geneseeathletics.com
