BATAVIA, NY... On January 13th, Genesee Women's Soccer signed their seventh recruit for the upcoming season, Emma Andrews. Emma is a 5'4" midfielder/defender and a 2-year varsity starter for LeRoy girls' soccer team. She appeared in the Exceptional Senior Game this past fall as well. She has also been a cheerleader at her high school and plays basketball.

Emma comes from the same school as Kiaya Condidorio, Genesee's last signee. The two of them came together for their recruitment visit and Head Coach Jeff Reyngoudt was excited to have the both of them play for the Cougars. "We have had a few girls in the past from LeRoy play on our team and they have always been hard-working, feisty players", stated Reyngoudt. One of the most recent LeRoy girls who played for GCC was Katline Cartwright, who played on the team that appeared in the 2018 National Tournament and is now a scholarship player at Alfred University.

The Genesee Cougar's Coaching staff are still in the process of recruiting for their 2020 team and have some more signings coming up in the next few months. If you are interested in trying out for next year's 2020 Genesee Cougars, please email Jeff Reyngoudt at jcreyngoudt@genesee.edu.
