Sanborn, NY – Women’s Volleyball traveled to Niagara County Community College for a Region III POD match up, between the Niagara CCC Thunderwolves and the Erie CC Kats

The cougars took home a win in their first region III match, sweeping Niagara in three sets. Their second game of the day facing Erie would be in favor in the Kats, but the Cougars would not go out without a fighting chance. Though they would lose the first two sets, they would hope to make a push, in an attempt to come back in the third set, winning it 26-24. Ultimately, Erie would take the final set of the match.

Marissa Cuifo would be the standout of the match, with a total of 9 Aces, 13 Kills, 14 Digs, and an assisted Block, in both matches.

The Cougars are back at home for a rematch against Niagara County Community College this Tuesday at 6:00 PM
