In their first match, the Cougars initially faced a setback, losing the first set 24-26. However, they swiftly turned the tide in set two, winning 25-19. Their momentum carried through, clinching the next two sets (25-22, 25-17) to secure a victory against Corning, 3-1. Sydney Martin played a pivotal role with 7 kills, 2 aces, 19 assists, and 8 digs. In their second game, the Cougars battled SUNY Broome but ultimately fell in three hard-fought sets. Their next opportunity to notch another win comes during their home debut on Tuesday at 6:00 PM, facing off against Corning Community College in a conference matchup.
