DRYDEN, NY… Genesee Volleyball went all five sets in their match against Tompkins Cortland Community College but fell to the Panthers 3-2.

Tompkins Cortland would get on the board first with a win in the first set, 25-22. The Panthers would also take set number two, 29-27, to jump out to a 2-0 match lead over Genesee.

The Cougars would not go down without a fight, however. Genesee battled back in set three, taking that set 26-24, cutting the Panther's match lead in half. The Cougars would repeat their efforts in set four, earning another 26-24 win, to even the match at 2-2.

The Panthers would prevail in the fifth and final set, taking set five by a score of 17-15, securing the win for Tompkins Cortland.

Genesee is back home vs Corning Community College on October 12 at 6pm.
